03.12.2012 Bus Changes

There will be a shake up next month for buses in Thornaby.

The 17a service will no longer serve Teesdale but go straight to Stockton from Thornaby Road.

The 17 service will no longer go to Ingleby Barwick but will run to the town centre then along Millbank Lane, up Thornaby Road and Trenchard Avenue then back to the Town Centre. This keeps the bus link to Middlesbrough every 10 minutes.

The 15 service will have one bus every half hour running to Ingleby Barwick and back to Thornaby then Stockton.

Not the best news from Arriva for Ingleby Barwick folk but when did Arriva ever listen to the bus users.

02.12.2012 Grit bins

As usual during cold snaps and snow we will be monitoring the grit bins throughout the village and arranging for refills. We urge residents to only take enough grit for their own safety and not to store for the future.

Blog page updates will be done as soon as possible during December. Apologies for the lack of updates during the past month ,this was caused by a server issue coupled with our web master being very busy at work. VPRA have been busy working away in the back ground as usual.
